Wushu Arena Team Philippines — Official Delegation for the 21st Hong Kong International Wushu Championships 2026
Wushu Arena Team Philippines is proud to officially announce our roster for the 21st Hong Kong International Wushu Championships 2026, happening on March 20–23 at the Ma On Shan Sports Centre, Hong Kong SAR. This is our second consecutive year competing at this prestigious international championship — and we are going back stronger, more prepared, and more complete as a team than ever before.
This year, our delegation will compete in Taijiquan (24 and Chen Style), Taijijian (32 Sword), Taijishan Duilian (Traditional Fan Duo), Changquan and Nanquan divisions, Traditional Barehand Forms, and Traditional Weapon Forms including Staff, Broadsword, Double Daggers, Nunchucks, and more — a total of 31 events across 10 athletes ranging from age 6 to 35 years old.
From young beginners to experienced international competitors, our team represents exactly what we stand for as a Traditional Wushu school in the Philippines — discipline, sportsmanship, and international readiness. We are proud to send athletes who train consistently, respect tradition, and step confidently onto the international stage. They are not just competing for medals. They are competing to show the world what Filipino martial artists are capable of — at every age, at every level, and from every background.
One of the most common questions we receive is why we send athletes to compete internationally when many of them are still beginners or recreational practitioners. The answer is simple. International competitions like the Hong Kong International Wushu Championships expose athletes to global judging standards, genuine cultural exchange, higher performance discipline, personal growth and confidence, and a deeper understanding of Traditional Wushu that cannot be replicated in any classroom or local setting. Standing on an international stage changes a person — regardless of whether they bring home a medal. And more often than not at Wushu Arena Philippines, they do bring home medals — because preparation, heart, and the right coaching matter far more than years of prior experience.
You do not have to be an elite athlete to train with us. You do not have to be young to begin. At Wushu Arena Philippines, we train kids, teens, adults, beginners, and traditional martial arts practitioners of all backgrounds. Whether your goal is fitness, performance, personal growth, or international competition — there is space for you here. Our team has proven year after year that beginners can become international medalists when they are trained with genuine care, proper technique, and a coaching philosophy that puts the student first.
